Students Get Hands-on Experience on Company’s Talent Acquisition Team

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, June 12, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Four San Jose City College (SJCC) students have been selected by eBay for paid summer internships -- the first time internships with the iconic Silicon Valley company have been offered to SJCC Students. Shaunya Bhayani, Iriana Lozada, Jesse Kuba, and Kyra Johnston began their internships on June 5 as members of eBay’s talent acquisition team.

“eBay is excited to partner with San Jose Community College, a Hispanic Serving Institution in the heart of Silicon Valley, to offer SJCC students the opportunity to participate in summer internships at eBay,” said Damien Hooper-Campbell, eBay Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer.

At the heart of eBay’s internship program is the aim to hire brilliant, hardworking, and diverse students. Throughout their 12-week internships, students work on meaningful and important projects that directly impact eBay’s business. In Talent Acquisition at eBay, students will help find, engage, and employ extraordinary people who do valuable work that has a tangible impact on the lives of individuals all over the world.
