By 1985, Steve was assembling partnerships and acquiring larger multifamily units with postponed maintenance needing a remodel. He soon was known as a ”turnaround expert” because he had the management expertise plus the construction knowledge and ability to complete a rehabilitation early and under budget.

Steve enjoys being in business with partners, because Steve cherishes the personal relationships he has acquired. He knows this is why he has much fulfillment in Christian ministry. Steve simply likes people and they like him! Website: http://www.stevebaxterdallas.com

Steve Baxter has been an active leader in ministry in the Dallas Texas area for 45 years and led Young Life Clubs at several high schools. Steve served on the staff of Fellowship Bible Church for 13 years. Steve and his wife, Mireya, attend Country Fellowship Church in Richardson. His two sons, Brennan Baxter and Andrew Baxter, go to Texas Tech, and are active in the Brothers Under Christ Fraternity.

Richard Black, a close associate, has mentioned this about Steve Baxter: "I have known Steve as a good friend for 38 years. I was his area director on staff with Young Life when he led the Richardson Young Life club for 13 years . I began investing with Steve in 2004. Steve is one of the most honorable guys I have ever met. He has a gift for finding good real estate deals, and has the skills to make them happen and make money.” Steve is well-known for this quote: “I believe in the circle of life. The most important purpose I have is to be the very best father I can be to my two sons, to help train, develop, support, and love on them all the time!”

Andrew Baxter was selected Pearce Junior Class Favorite, Member of the Year of the Mustang Stampede C & W Dance team, and Pearce Pacesetter Drill Team Best Escort his 11th grade. As an 11th grader on the basketball team, Andrew Baxter knew he was not going to get to play much at all so he resolved that he desired to be the best teammate on the basketball bench. He did this by encouraging the entire bench to fully support the players and be cheerleaders on their behalf. He helped all the bench to "go crazy" for the players on the court. It made a huge change in the basketball team and likely contributed to the fact that the team made it to the basketball playoffs for the first time in a long time.

For John penned that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." In addition, the Bible makes a challenge that goes something like this: "I call heaven and earth to record this day, that I have set before you life and death: therefore, choose
