Alexey Miller and Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg, praise gas industry development in Grand Duchy
A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, and Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, took place today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017.
The meeting participants discussed the current trends in Europe’s gas industry, praising the development of that energy sector in Luxembourg. It was noted that, while the share of natural gas in the country's energy balance was 26 per cent, gas accounted for over 90 per cent of all electricity generated in Luxembourg.
