PORTLAND, OR, UNITED STATES, May 26, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Luminous Journeys Photo Tours, a division of Luminous Journeys Ltd., is very pleased to confirm the newest addition to its roster of world class photography tour workshops in exotic Asia. Holi India! - Rajasthan, Varanasi & the Taj Mahal, runs February 12 -26, 2018. This is a small group, all inclusive photo tour limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

"Holi India!" is named for the colorful climax of this photo adventure, the annual festival of Holi. Holi is also known as the Festival of Colors, and/or the Festival of Love. The events of Holi celebrate the spirit of brother love and the unity of religions and cultures throughout the Subcontinent. It is a great time of joy for all, while simultaneously providing spectacular image making opportunities for photographers.

India is by many considered the most photographically rich environment of any single country in the world, north to south; east to west. The Holi India photo tour will focus on the best of the best over a 15-day period. This includes the exotic, frenetic streets of Old Delhi and the great Mosque of Jama Masjid; legendary Rajasthan and the Blue City of Jodhpur; plus unparalleled access to the Taj Mahal, and the ever fascinating city of Varanasi on the River Ganges.

Luminous Journeys cofounder, Ms. Soe Soe Lwin, who has handled dozens of photo tours for the likes of Steve McCurry and other widely acclaimed photographers, says, "I am especially pleased to include India on our growing list of the best photo destinations in Asia. We have worked with David Lazar for years, and know him as a generous teacher dedicated to helping his participants take their photography to the next level. We feel privileged to be teaming David with the passionate and inspirational talents of India's own, Mr. Swarup Chatterjee. This dynamic photo duo thrives on working hard to leave no photographic stone unturned, and always puts their guests' image making above their own."

"Holi India! Rajasthan, Varanasi & the Taj Mahal" is now open for registration on a first come first served basis.
