Orbit International’s Electronics Group Receives New Developmental Award for Approximately $950,000

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., May 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orbit International Corp. (OTC PINK:ORBT), an electronics manufacturer and software solution provider, today announced that its Electronics Group received a new developmental award for a next generation control device used in military aircraft for approximately $950,000.  The award includes engineering effort, program support and the delivery of pre-production units.  The engineering and program support effort are expected to commence in the second quarter of 2017 and delivery of pre-production units are scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Orbit International Corp., through its Electronics Group, is involved in the manufacture of customized electronic components and subsystems for military and nonmilitary government applications through its production facility in Hauppauge, New York.  Orbit’s Power Group, also located in Hauppauge, NY, designs and manufactures a wide array of power products including AC power supplies, frequency converters, inverters, uninterruptible power supplies, VME/VPX power supplies as well as various COTS power sources.
