April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Sexual violence is widespread and impacts everyone and every community. Victims often experience guilt, shame, fear, numbness, shock and feelings of isolation and suffer from long-term health risks and behaviors such as PTSD, depression, pregnancy and STDs.
We all have a role to play!
The UAW is committed to ending sexual assault and other forms of gender-based violence, including in the workplace. We seek to promote healthy behaviors that create safe and equitable workplace communities.
