Ron G is blazing a trail as one of the hottest upcoming comedians in Los Angeles. When comedic genius Martin Lawrence said, "Ron G, you are funny," it was an overwhelming beginning of several career highlights for Ron G so far. After being in the game for less than a year, Ron G received his first of many standing ovations.

“I want to represent the new generation of comedians that get overlooked. I’d like to show the world the new generation is just as funny, clever, and talented," said Ron G.

A former class clown, Ron G decided it was time to graduate from the classroom and take his act to the world’s stage. Ron G graduated with a dual degree in finance and management from the University of South Carolina. He quickly decided he didn’t fit into the corporate world and at his cousin’s urging, got up on stage for the first time in Atlanta, Georgia, and got booed severely.

Not a quitter, Ron G calls that experience "the best and worst day of my life, the day I fell in love with comedy.” He has been performing ever since at clubs, colleges, churches, and corporate events around the world, entertaining people while staying true to his commitment to clean humor. His performance presents down-to-earth humor and funny characters.

Currently, Ron G is the consultant producer for the television series for Season 2 of CNN’s United Shades of America with Kamau Bell. Recently, Ron G performed on AXS TV Presents: Gotham Comedy Live, which will air in 2017. In 2016, Ron G performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. His performance was taped for Kevin Hart’s new series LOL LIVE! on Laugh Out Loud Network, a new digital OTT platform led by Kevin Hart and Lionsgate TV. Ron G has appeared as a regular on Punk'd and guest appearances on TV One's "Love that Girl", "Mulaney," and "Key and Peele."

Ron G was a finalist on both the hit TV show Bill Bellamy's "Who's Got Jokes" and Season 6 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Ron G received the Prestigious College Comic of the Year award. He won NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity award, and has appeared on Chelsea Lately’s Round Table and The Arsenio Hall show as the featured comedian.

When in Hollywood, California, plan to catch Ron G, the host of Chocolate Sundaes, at the world famous Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard for two shows at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. every Sunday.
