The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) is to launch a new 'small business membership' at IFE 2017 which takes place from 19-22 March 2017 at the ExCel, London.

The offering has been launched in response to a significant increase in interest in FDF membership among SMEs since the vote to leave the EU.

Benefits of the new membership include access to FDF experts through a dedicated helpline, free insurance and legal advice, access to retail buyers and discounts on FDF events including the organisation's industry dinner.

SME membership will cost £500+VAT per annum.

Nicki Hunt, Membership Director at FDF said:

“SMEs account for a huge proportion of the businesses in our industry. We feel it's important that these companies have affordable access to some of the same expertise as their larger counterparts and can be part of a shared industry voice.

“These businesses are the backbone to our sector; their success is key to ensure our industry thrives. We look forward to meeting lots of potential new SME – and larger - members at IFE and discussing how we can help them at a time of great uncertainty.”

FDF's Director of Corporate Affairs Tim Rycroft will also be taking part in a panel discussion on The Sugar Debate at the IFE Big Picture Theatre on Tuesday 21 March from 12:45pm.

FDF will be located on stand number N2653, located in the Great British & Irish Food area.
