NASCOM Projects, DHI, Bahrain Ministry of Works to discuss marine and coastal engineering projects in the Middle East

The Marine & Coastal Design and Engineering conference is scheduled to take place in Bahrain from 25-27 April 2017.

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, February 21, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Marine and coastal experts from consultants, contractors, private developers, government representatives and solution providers will gather and discuss project challenges and requirements in order to determine best practice in marine engineering, coastal design and project delivery.

Countries in the Middle East are allocating huge funds to develop artificial islands, expand their port infrastructure to handle bigger capacity and ensure sustainability of their marine structures. But, there is a critical need for engineering innovations and solutions specific to local marine and coastal environments in Bahrain and the wider Middle East.

To discuss these projects, challenges and the way forward - IQPC Middle East is organising the 5th Annual Marine & Coastal Design and Engineering Middle East Forum. This conference will bring together stakeholders from all marine and coastal sectors to discuss strategies to develop the Arabian coastline through sustainable and innovative design and engineering.
