Apogee Information System launches the website and the online application and evaluation system of the European Public Sector Awards 2017

THESSALONIKI, GREECE, February 14, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) announced that the call for applications for the European Public Sector Awards 2017 (EPSA 2017) was opened on 13 February 2017 and will run until 13 April 2017.

Interested parties have to register to the EPSA website and following approval of their registration they can submit the online application form. The website was created by Apogee Information Systems which also provided an integrated system for all stages of the award process: application, evaluation by selected experts and final decision making by the EPSA award committee.

All European public sector institutions from all administrative levels, as well as public sector enterprises, agencies or public-private partnerships can submit their projects for the award. In case of a consortium applicants can be private, semi-public, NGO or academic but the lead applicant must be a public sector institution or authority.

The EPSA 2017 awards will be presented on the occasion of a high-level event to be held mid-November 2017 in Maastricht, the Netherlands, during the Estonian presidency of the Council of the EU. Moreover, EPSA 2017 is taking place in the framework of a series of events organised by the Province of Limburg and the Municipality of Maastricht to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Maastricht. This event offers a significant opportunity for European public sector bodies to demonstrate innovative performance and outstanding achievements to an extensive audience and to be recognised for being at the leading edge of public sector innovation across Europe.

The EPSA is the only Europe-wide public sector award, which is open to all public administrations from all levels across Europe. It is a biennial scheme started in 2007, which will be run and managed for the fifth time in 2017 by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA). So far, EPSA has brought together over 1000 cases of public excellence.
