WASHINGTON The FAAs Commercial Space Transportation Conference is an opportunity for the media to gain insight into the exciting and challenging issues facing commercial space transportation, including new and emerging rocket technologies, potential future launch procedures, and human space travel. The FAA is the federal authority that oversees and licenses all facets of the commercial space industry including rocket launch sites, rocket launches and re-entries, and rocket payloads.

The two-day event will include speakers and panel discussions that will focus on issues involving space transportation safety, space tourism, launch site development, and future space technologies.
