GSA Equipment is now selling new zero turn lawn mowers and owner Adam Nichols is moving to a different site to help facilitate this latest venture for his business that has been serving the area since 2012. GSA Equipment, which has been located in Massillon, will now be at 50 31st S.W., Barberton, Ohio, 44203. GSA which is located in Summit county Ohio, which is close to Stark, Medina, and Wayne counties. The phone number for the business will remain 330-495-6441. This new move will give GSA a great location, with lots of room for new and used lawn equipment, as well as a full-service repair, maintenance and parts area. Plenty of parking is also available at the site.
Hours for the business will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

CELEBRATE WITH US
A grand opening at the site is set for Memorial Day weekend, May 28, 29, and 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nichols invites everyone to stop in and check it out. Free food, such as donuts, hot dogs, chips, drinks, etc. will be on hand to celebrate the move and the new offerings at GSA. There will also be specials and sales throughout the weekend.

WHAT PRODUCTS AND NEW SERVICES TO LOOK FOR
New lawn equipment that will now be sold includes Scag Mowers, Big Dog Mowers, Simplicity Mowers,EGo cordless power equipment, and Snapper. New Echo hand-held items will also be sold such as weed eaters and mowers. A full-service authorized repair and parts department will also be at the new location. Minor and major repairs can be done by staff members, who bring a lot of experience to their jobs. In addition, if someone is just interested in getting their equipment serviced and ready for the summer months of mowing and landscaping—GSA is the place to visit.

Nichols said "he is excited to be able to work with both individuals caring for their home lawns, as well as with business owners doing landscaping in the area. Pick-up and delivery up to 250 miles of mowers is also a part of the services offered at the business."

WELCOME TO NEW EMPLOYEES
Tim Smith is being welcomed as the general manager at GSA. Smith brings a wealth of knowledge to the job, as he has also been a General Manager at Moore’s Lawn and Garden Service, in Massillon and Millersburg. His specialty is John Deere Mowers.

Peter Miller who is a Kohler, Kawasaki, and Briggs and Stratton Certified Mechanic will be a service technician and he also has been in the lawn and garden business for many years.

Barry Whetstone, another experienced addition to the staff, will be in charge of sales and delivery.

HISTORY OF BUSINESS

In 2008, Nichols started learning the mower business while earning a management and business degree at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. It started out as a hobby, but then his passion for the mower business grew.
In 2012, Nichols and his wife looked at the market and realized that there was not a low-priced leader in the used mower space. Most dealerships have high overhead costs, which are then passed on to you, the consumer, in the form of overpriced mowers, Nichols said. The couple started GSA Equipment to help homeowners and commercial lawn specialists get quality used equipment at prices you cannot find anywhere else.

“We sell and specialize in commercial zero turn mowers and walk behinds. We have a good selection of lawn and garden tractors as well,” said Nichols. “We get a wide variety of equipment ranging in years, hours, sizes, and brands.
