Following the devastating avalanche that hit a hotel in the Abruzzo region of the Italian Republic, claiming many and injuring others, President Danny Faure has expressed his deepest sympathies to Mr. Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic.

In his message of condolence, President Faure said "our thoughts and prayers go to the people of the Italian Republic, especially to the families of the bereaved. We pray that they may find the strength and courage to overcome the pain caused by this tragedy. We also pray for those engaged in emergency response and wish them success in their rescue efforts."
