The ‘Privacy and GDPR: How Cloud computing could be your failing’ webinar will provide an overview of the Regulation, and discuss the breach notification requirements under the GDPR, organisations’ responsibilities when storing data in the Cloud, and the roles of the controller and the processor.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force on 25 May 2018 and is designed to provide a single harmonised data privacy law applicable across all European member states. Businesses that collect and handle data on European data subjects will need to comply with the Regulation in order to avoid tough fines of up to 4% of annual turnover or €20 million, whichever is greater.
