The first of our series of events this year is The MidWest Rum Fest a.k.a Chicago Rum Festival.

The US is easily one of the most important countries in the rum category and at TheRumLab our mission is to expose the beauty, nuance, and pleasure of every aspect of rum.
Our team is responsible for the Taste of Rum Puerto Rico, California Rum Festival, New York Rum Fest and, of course, MidWest Rum Festival. Each event attracts hundreds of people from rum beginners to aficionados, rum professionals to dilettantes, and happy locals to fun seeking tourists.
The first of our series of events this year is The MidWest Rum Fest a.k.a Chicago Rum Festival. On the heels of its two very successful predecessors, with the incredible momentum from our other events and the flourishing passion for Rum appreciation, we are expecting TheMidWest Rum Fest to even bigger and better than ever.
The event will be divided into two sessions: Spirit Industry and Rum Aficionado Grand Tasting “General Admission”.
The Spirit Industry Session consists of a 1-hour program from 12-1PM to offer industry professionals the opportunity to network with brand representatives, attend training seminars, taste a wide variety of rums and mingle/meet with colleagues.
The Rum Aficionado Grand Tasting “General Admission” Session is from 1:30 - 5:30 PM and consists of a 4 hour program that offers attendees the opportunity to taste new rums, attend brand seminars, enjoy pleasant music, and witness a mixology/flair show.
Cover Charge includes*: A 2 oz. tasting snifter glass; a tasting punch card to redeem samples (each sample is equivalent to .25oz of neat rum or 1.5 oz cocktail), and some complimentary snacks.
