Armament & Procurement Authority of the Kuwait Ministry of Defence to host a conference in Salwa next week

Supported by the Armament & Procurement Authority of the Kuwait Ministry of Defence, the event will discuss joint logistics and procurement for GCC militaries.

SALWA, KUWAIT, November 22, 2016 / -- Kuwait, 22 Nov 2016 – Senior procurement and logistics officers from the Kuwait Armed Forces will be gathering at the Military Logistics & Procurement Kuwait conference from 28-29 November at the Radisson Blu in Salwa, Kuwait, to discuss strategies to streamline logistics and procurement in the age of joint operations.

The conference will take joint operations as its main theme, seeking to outline how logistics and procurement heads can make sure their forces and equipment work seamlessly with allies in order to maximise efficiency and improve the effectiveness of forces.

Extending support to this event, Major General Lafi Al Aazmi, Chief of the Armament & Procurement Authority of the Kuwait Armed Forces, will be joined by an impressive roster of speakers from the UK Ministry of Defence, United States Central Command, NATO, plus and a number of other prominent guests such as logistics and procurement directors from Qatar and Bahrain.
