RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture Continues Significant Growth

Firm Taps Kerry Blind, FASLA to Lead Atlanta Office and Doug Craig, PLA to Lead Scottsdale Office

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture announced today it has opened an office in Atlanta, Georgia.  In July 2016, the company first announced its expansion into Scottsdale, Arizona, on the heels of an equity investment from national consulting firm Atwell, LLC. The 34-year-old firm headquartered in Austin, Texas, has named Doug Craig vice president and managing principal of its Scottsdale office and Kerry Blind vice president and managing principal of its Atlanta office.

Craig and Blind join the firm with more than 30 years of experience each. Craig is a licensed landscape architect who began his career in Phoenix in 1982; he has a strong understanding of the market and a passion for the nuances of working in the desert. Blind is a licensed landscape architect and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Council of Fellows, one of the highest honors a landscape architect can achieve.

He is experienced in the design of large, residential master-planned communities, including community theming and branding. He is also a member of the City of Scottsdale Historic Preservation Commission and is a graduate of the Scottsdale Leadership Class 29.

Over the course of Blind’s career, he has founded two landscape architecture firms and is a recognized leader in the field of green infrastructure. Blind is a member of the Urban Land Institute-Atlanta, Lambda Alpha International, the Georgia Conservancy and the Southface Energy Institute Sustainable Atlanta Round Table Steering Committee.
