Defra has today launched its International Export Action Plan, which sets out proposals as to how the Government and industry can work together in partnership to grow food and drink exports.

FDF has provided both industry insight and feedback on the Export Action Plan, which includes a joint-foreword from FDF President Dame Fiona Kendrick and export case study’s from FDF members Nestlé and Nairn’s.

FDF has an ambition to grow the UK food and drink manufacturing sector by 20% by 2020 (GVA using a 2010 baseline).
