Every band has a time when they reach their musical peak...I feel BITF is one of the few bands to actually be able to reach this point on each release, but “Sugarcoat” has its own special feel.

Following in the footsteps of the previous album, 2014’s Antihero, which was also released on Independence Day, they put their efforts together again to birth the album titled “The Sky in Front of Me,” packed with lyrical slices of life and infectious hooks.
The song “Barely” is about being in a relationship with someone who is looking to you for support, but you're too lost in your own issues to be available for them.
