DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The highly successful FBS college football all-star game the “Tropic Bowl” makes a move from Miami to Daytona Beach, FL for the 2nd annual game. The 2nd annual Tropic Bowl will feature the top Division 1 college seniors from around the country flooding Daytona Beach for a weekend of NFL Scouts, football competition and entertainment. The Tropic Bowl will be played at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium on Sunday January 15, 2017 from 9am-1pm. Last year’s game saw over half of the FBS roster go on to the NFL, 27 NFL teams in attendance, 70+ total scouts present who flew in for the extremely talented roster. Some Tropic Bowl alumni NFL success stories include current NFL players such as KJ Brent of the Oakland Raiders and Anthony Lanier of the Washington Redskins and many more. The 2017 Tropic Bowl weekend will be a jammed pack weekend of football as the 2nd annual game expects 110 players, along with 100’s of fans to fly into Daytona Beach, Florida. The Tropic Bowl USA is presented by East Preps and NFL DRAFT BLITZ is the featured sponsor for the game.

The Tropic Bowl roster is unique in that it gives the NFL and CFL scouts a chance to view and get to know the best college football players from the top FBS schools in the country. This year the Tropic Bowl National Team will be head coached by award winning 18 year NFL veteran Coach Mike Stock formerly of the Green Bay Packers while the American Team will be head coached by experienced former NFL coach Bill Khayat who has coached for the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Redskins. 13 year NFL Scout Ken Moll is the Tropic Bowl games Scouting Executive and he will be assisted by former Fritz-Pollard NFL Scout of the Year Jerry Hardaway.
