KERRVILLE, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- KERRVILLE, Texas – Author Richard R. Monts writes a story of resilience, renewal and rivalry in his thought-provoking book, “Constitutional Renaissance.”

Philosophically and logically written, “Constitutional Renaissance” is the result of a review of the Constitution of the United States to determine the intended role of the United States Government. An alternative to large central government, in keeping with the Constitution, is also presented. It presents a solution to make this country what it has potential to be.

“The unrealized potential of people that make up this country was the inspiration to write this book. After determining the true constitutional intent for a very limited United States government; and as a personal exercise, designing a system that was constitutional and produced the best environment for the individual citizens to pursue their potential; and spending considerable effort and time to find fault in it; I had to go public. It was just too good. The more I worked to find fault and the more I saw going on in the country it become obvious that a change needed to take place. This country had lost its way and was foundering,” shares Monts, when asked about the inspiration behind his book.

“With 70 percent of the people of the United States concerned about the direction of the country, readers are able to discover a pleasant source of hope for our future. It may take a little thought to see the merit of it, but it might get people to think of possibilities instead of resigning themselves hopelessly to the status quo. Perhaps, this book could be the catalyst that turns the country around and puts the people in a position to realize their potential,” states Katie Hignite, Acquisition Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

An observer for a very young age, Monts was the youngest in the neighborhood and was left out of games and other group activities because of the age difference. This led to his developing observational analytical skills for his own amusement that he has continued throughout his life. He has been concerned about the continued expansion of US government since the Kennedy administration.

Monts set out to find out himself what really the intention of the constitution was. What he found led to his designing an alternate system so the States could compete and also be responsive to needed change. The system he designed, honoring the genius of the constitution, was good. The more he tried to find fault the better it was. He had to share it with others, just in case they might think it was pretty good too.

Seeing tremendous potential in this country, Monts believes the solution to realizing more of it is the strict adherence to the intent of the constitution. This takes discipline and understanding of the people to know what is intended and expected of the government.
