/EINPresswire.com/ -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 22,547 vehicles in August 2016 versus 24,653 in August 2015.

August 2016 Brand Sales Highlights:

• Chevrolet's Launch products continue to see strong sales. For the month of August, Spark was up 197 per cent, Volt up 153 per cent, Camaro was up 9 per cent and Colorado was up 34 per cent
• Buick sales are up 27 per cent for the month led by the Regal (up 300 per cent) and the SUV portfolio including the Envision and Encore (up 26 per cent)
• Sales of the GMC Canyon were up 17 per cent for the month and the Yukon was up 34 per cent for the month
• Cadillac continues to build momentum with its best retail sales calendar year to date driven by sales of Cadillac SUVs, SRX and XT5 (combined up 15 per cent) and Escalade (up 68 per cent)

Overall, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 22,547 vehicles in August 2016, a decrease of 8.5 per cent versus August 2015.
