Green EnviroTech Holdings, Inc. Announces Achievement of Milestones Towards Growth

/EINPresswire.com/ -- JAMESTOWN, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/01/16 -- Green EnviroTech Holdings, Inc. (OTC PINK: GETH). In 2015, nearly 200 countries signed up to the 17 goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Change Agreement. "The world's ability to deliver on these commitments depends on the speed with which we can achieve certain transformational changes, notably the transition to clean, sustainable and renewable energy that underpins so many of the goals," says Achim Steiner, UN Under-Secretary General and UNEP Executive Director. No doubt, the transition to sustainable development has been set in motion and mainstream investors, particularly in the U.S. are taking notice.

Green EnviroTech Holdings, Inc. (GETH) is pioneering the sustainable development agenda. After significant efforts to perfect the GETH technology, the company can now announce the achievement of a number of milestones that set the foundations for a major push into the used tire processing market. GETH has:

  • Established Smart Fuel Solutions to be a majority owned operating subsidiary of GETH;
  • Strengthened the management team with the appointment of Chris Bowers as CEO of Smart Fuel Solutions;
  • Developed a robust pipeline of business opportunities.

The focus for the second half of 2016 will be to:

  • Finalize agreements with strategic partners;
  • Progress deals through the business development pipeline.

To prepare for this push, GETH is now current on its financial filings.

GETH Chairman and CEO, Gary De Laurentiis explains, "We are expanding our team to include a group of professionals who will help GETH achieve its goals. I am particularly pleased to welcome Chris Bowers as CEO of Smart Fuel Solutions. He has been working as a partner for the last 6 months and has made a significant contribution to our progress. The depth and breadth of knowledge that Chris brings to GETH, both from his large company and early stage company experiences, will drive company growth and future success."

Chris has worked at the highest level in large global high tech companies. He was Chief of Staff at Applied Materials and an advisor to the CEO, at Philips Electronics. Chris is an Advisory Board member at the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, and an Advisory Board member and guest lecturer at Santa Clara University School of Business. He is a Strategic Advisor to Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and a member of the Stanford Cancer Council. Previously with the Hay Group, Chris founded and led its Middle East office, and established a strategy and transformation practice. He started his career with the British military, serving for 5 years with the UK Special Forces.

"It is a privilege to be involved in the commercialization of a robust technology that will have a significant impact on cleaning up our planet and creating high quality jobs," said Chris Bowers. "GETH's low emission process not only recycles used tires and waste plastics, but also reduces the need for the primary production of carbon black and oil refining. In so doing, it will have a long term beneficial effect on reducing CO2 emissions. Gary and the team have done a great job in setting the foundations; now is the time to drive growth."

Commenting on the company's growth strategy, Gary De Laurentiis remarked, "We are very proud of the achievements we have made over the past 2 years. We will accelerate from here, and will be releasing progress reports and information as we achieve major milestones. We are excited about our future in this important field of converting waste into valuable products."
