Jim Porcari Joins the Board of CDS, makers of the asTech™ device

PLANO, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, July 29, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Jim Porcari, former President of AIG Personal Lines Claims (US), has joined CDS’s board of directors. As part of the CDS Board, Porcari will help guide the company as it rolls out its patented next generation asTech™ remote diagnostic solution to the auto physical damage industry.

During his time at AIG, Jim led AIG Personal Lines (US) claims through 2 major acquisitions and integrated 4 standalone claims departments, while moving from 5 claim systems to a single new system. In addition, Jim was on the steering committee for the AIG Global Claims Review project and also chaired AIG’s Worldwide Investigative Resource (SIU) Executive Committee. Prior to joining AIG, Porcari served as Chief Claims Officer for Integon, later renamed GMAC Insurance. Jim also served on the Board of Governors, National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) from 2005 -2009, chairing the audit committee and as a member of the executive, nominating and compensation committee, and serving as Vice-Chair in 2009.

Porcari founded Insurance Resources International in 2010 and currently serves as the managing director, working with many top tier insurers as well as a number of providers in the insurance support eco-system. Porcari also serves on the boards of National Truck Protection, Livegenic and Homesite (GA). Porcari holds a Master of Business Administration from SMU – Cox School of Business and received his BBA, from the University of Dayton.
