Intelligent Skin Sense is a company that was founded by Katz, who is a long time beauty pioneer. She coined the term "day spa" in the 1980s at her first spa in New York City. Katz explains why she decided to start Intelligent Skin Sense. She says, "The way it came about was that I saw there was a change in the industry simply because people just didn't have the same amount of time.
