GILLETTE, WYO., UNITED STATES, July 23, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- GILLETTE, Wyo. – Author Kari Massie McLaughlin crafts an entertaining and educational read for children as she teaches them about animal names and the beauty of nature in her book, “Get Your Muster in a Cluster.”

“Get Your Muster in a Cluster” is one of McLaughlin’s educational, amusing and picturesque books to that aims to teach children about names of animal groups. Some of her books are categorized on land animals, ocean animals and birds.

“As an elementary teacher, I want children to continue to learn as they go along. Throughout my years of being a teacher, some of my favorite books to read are rhyme books as my students also love to read and listen to them. I’ve never really seen books that focus on teaching children about animal groups, which is why I began writing the first book in 2005, but changed my mind and put it away for two years. Then, I decided to write the book about land animal groups. I didn't think I'd be writing any more books about animal groups. None were in my head until several months later,” McLaughlin happily shares when asked about what led her to her first step towards publishing her book.

McLaughlin shares the wonderful responses from her readers and gives this charming reaction, “They love animals and really enjoy the illustrations. They enjoy learning about the names of all the different groups, especially since some of the groups have funny names.”

“It is a fun and elemental read for children and would be a great educational tool for caregivers and teachers! The book is full of adorable illustrations and it tackles a subject that children love. This one should definitely be sitting on the shelves of libraries, bookstores, and cafes!” states Stacy Baker, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

McLaughlin is a second-grade teacher in Gillette, Wyoming. She is in her 21st year of teaching and is very aware of what children need to learn, and what interests them. Being a teacher inspired her to write educational rhyming books. She has two children who were also the inspiration for writing the book and enjoys traveling with them. They have been all over the United States and plan to travel overseas in the future as well.
