YORK, NEB., UNITED STATES, July 23, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- YORK, Neb. – Author Michael Marsh determines readers as he shares a story of successful determination with the help of a basset hound in juvenile fiction, “Project Digger.”

A story of real life experience, “Project Digger” is a creative-packed story of two best friends and their quest to come up with a killer science fair project.

“This book was taken wholly from life experiences. My daughter and her best friend became the main characters and Digger was based on one of our beloved basset hounds. The book was over a year in the making with me both writing and illustrating it. The illustrations in their original full-color format covered over twelve square feet,” shares Marsh when asked about the inspiration behind his book.

“A wonderful, creative book, ‘Project Digger’ promotes success, patience, and determination,” shares Angel Grace Igot, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Michael Marsh is a self-professed doodler working in an intricate line art style. He turned to writing children's stories so that, he could further his audience by illustrating the stories he writes. A lifelong basset hound lover, he uses the exploits in one of these beloved animals and the antics of his daughter, Elizabeth and her best friend Ariana to tell the story. His wife Susan, and the current basset queen Rosie, along with Elizabeth, make up a household of girls outnumbering the besieged writer.
