Author Pennie McNair set to meet with a professional screenwriter to discuss adaptation of fictional novel to film.

McNair shares her vision for the movie by stating, "The Rock" captures real life family and relational issues that are prevalent for today and sacrifices to be made. Through film it will capture the consequences of human choices and how those choices affect not just the person but family and other relationships as well. The word of God comes alive as we see the struggles and the process of overcoming life's obstacles by meditating on God's word, open and honest (sometimes painful) conversations, and acknowledging our wrong that caused so much pain. But most of all the film will capture God's work of amazing grace by way of forgiveness and renewal. This film will depict by enduring the pain and pressure without giving up, in the end we stand tall that carries a touching testimony.

The vision also is to set the stage for a three book series taken from the lives of the characters introduced in The Rock, with a book dedicated to each major character as they run the race called life being assured that there is a God who cares.
