The Redefinition -- whose design inspiration hails from Europe's elegant boutique hotels -- will extend to all 398 guest rooms, suites, and the Club Lounge, in an effort to enhance the overall guest experience. Inspired by a desire to blend comfort and elegance with fashion and couture, the design mixes the traditional foundation of the luxury hotel with transitional pieces that feel modern and fresh.

Inspired by a desire to blend comfort and elegance with fashion and couture, the design -- developed by Wimberly Interiors -- mixes the traditional foundation of the luxury hotel with more transitional pieces that feel modern and fresh. The rooms and corridor will envelope the guest in inviting, sensual colors including a deep charcoal palette infused with blues, green and purples. The new club lounge will embody the feel of a stylish, rich library and open up the space to take advantage of the beautiful D.C. skyline views. As a way to truly celebrate the geographical and historical elements unique to Northern Virginia, the selected artwork will consist of a mix of mediums, all inspired by the area's lush surroundings.

In addition, the guest rooms are being redesigned with the business traveler in mind so individuals can work more easily and comfortably. This includes the latest technology, thoughtful placement of electrical outlets and USB ports, Nespresso coffeemakers, and plush, oversized chairs that are designed for work and relaxation. New smart televisions will be equipped with an interactive directory, and streaming options for enhanced entertainment.
