Minister Chagger Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Mexican Secretary of Tourism

Formalizing cooperation on tourism between Canada and Mexico

In support of greater cooperation on tourism between Canada and Mexico, the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mexican Secretary of Tourism Enrique de la Madrid Cordero.

Mexico and Canada are among each other's most important tourism markets, and an exchange of tourism statistics will be mutually beneficial for understanding the other's market better. Canada and Mexico will collaborate on specific statistical projects that could help highlight the travel trends and habits of each country's citizens.
