DB Schenker Appoints New CFO; Strengthens Senior Executive Team in the Americas Region with New Appointments

Effective immediately, Brent Blake is the new Chief Financial Officer for the Americas. Since 2014, Brent has held the role of Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for North America with Del Monte. Prior to this, Blake held increasingly senior roles and responsibilities across finance, IT, and strategy with OHL, United Parcel Service, and Burger King Corporation in the Americas.

As of May 23, 2016, Steve Gundlach has taken over the role of Executive Vice President of Contract Logistics, Americas. Steve has had a long and outstanding career in the Supply Chain Industry with CEVA Logistics where he served on their Americas Management Board, Global Contract Logistics Steering Committee, and in several other senior positions. Prior to joining CEVA in 1997, Steve served as Director of Operations for Exel Logistics in Houston, TX.

Donna Hanson Prantl, formerly Vice President of Finance and Shared Services for Schenker, Inc., was appointed to the new role of CFO USA - effective April 4, 2016. Donna has a wealth of knowledge and successful results in Finance within the Transportation and Logistics industry. Donna has worked for over 27 years with Schenker, Inc. and has previous experience with Lep International.

On April 11, 2016, DB Schenker also welcomed Marta Ramirez as the new Senior Vice President, Human Resources for the Americas. Marta joins the DB Schenker team with extensive HR knowledge and more than 14 years of experience in the Transportation and Logistics Industry. Prior to accepting this position, Marta led Regional HR at Geodis USA and had regional responsibility at IATA and DHL.
