NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, May 30, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Jonathan Fruchter, the founder of The World Cannabis Club, NY's First Dispensary, will be a speaker again at the International Cannabis Association's (ICA) 3rd Annual Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo to be held again at the Jacob J. Javits Convention Center in New York City from June 15 -18, 2016. This year's presentation will be titled "THE FINAL PUSH: Veterans Safe Government Access" and will be given on Thursday, June 16th in Room 1A14 from 4:50 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Jonathan is also the founder of the (WCNN) World Cannabis News Network which publishes The High Street Journal as well as The World Cannabis Times. A veteran of the Navy's special operations air rescue swimmer (AIRR) community, Jonathan has first hand knowledge of the tremendous medical benefits of cannabis and has been working with worldwide cannabis groups and private industry to make cannabis available to veterans through VA Hospitals worldwide. Jonathan brings to the table many years of experience of cultivation techniques and is a sought after industry consultant.

He is a caregiver at heart, having selflessly risked his life every day for others, this is what he does best. He's been working alongside movement professionals worldwide bringing his expertise to benefit the masses. He first became a true activist on his first visit to Amsterdam in 1999. He fell in love with the atmosphere of acceptance, and the acceptance of medical cannabis in hospitals. He then decided to live in Amsterdam for two months after graduating college in 2003. While abroad, he absorbed all of the grow techniques he could from Holland's master growers and made connections with key coffeeshop owners.

He then took this knowledge back with him to South Florida, the indoor grow capital of the world. He is currently a grassroots initiative caregiver serving his patients, while working to move the country in the direction of wider medical access as well as full legalization reform. Jonathan is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The Jewish War Veterans and has held civil-service positions at the Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital in New Jersey.

The World Cannabis Club was founded in 2012 as New York's First Dispensary and Cannabis Club. The WCC is an international exchange of cannabis, camaraderie, compassion, and information about the wellness benefits of cannabis.
