LinuxCon Japan is the premier Linux conference in Asia that brings together a unique blend of core developers, administrators, users, community managers and industry experts. It is designed not only to encourage collaboration but to support future interaction between Japan and other Asia Pacific countries and the rest of the global Linux community. The conference includes presentations, tutorials, keynotes, and sponsored mini-summits.

ContainerCon also comes to Japan for the first time this year, after a successful launch in North America in 2015. New developments in Linux containers are driving the adoption of cloud and virtualization technologies in many industries and ContainerCon Japan will provide a platform for exhibiting the best work. By being co-located with LinuxCon Japan, ContainerCon Japan will bring together a diverse range of experts from cloud computing and Linux containers to offer a general technical conference that is open to everyone; creating a place where companies on the leading edge can network with users and developers to advance computing.

This year, LinuxCon + ContainerCon Japan will be co-located with Automotive Linux Summit, which gathers the most innovative minds from automotive expertise and open-source excellence to drive the future of embedded devices in the automotive arena. Those wishing to add Automotive Linux Summit to their LinuxCon + ContainerCon registration may do so at a discounted fee.

Attendees will also have the option to attend the Open Networking Mini-Summit, a two-day event with content covering the SDN/NFV ecosystem to showcase the technologies that are transforming networking for service providers, data center operators and enterprises and to help developers and architects keep up with the SDN/NFV tools and technologies ready for evaluation and deployment. Access to the Open Networking Mini-Summit is included in the pricing for LinuxCon + ContainerCon Japan. Attendees also have the option to add the IoT 101: Getting Connected for Developers tutorial to their registration for US$50.

LinuxCon and ContainerCon are made possible by support from Gold Sponsor IBM; Silver Sponsors Google, Red Hat and Renesas; and Bronze Sponsors Deis, EMC, Igalia and LPI-Japan.

For attendees who register before May 31, the early registration fee is US$350. Visit http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linuxcon-japan to register.
