A report suggested that HSV dating sites seemed less likely to unite people with STIs than to divide them into cliques. (1)

Using a herpes dating site may not be as effective as regular sites when trying to find true love, according to a report on Motherboard. As Motherboard noted, “There’s no question that these sites (which have even spawned their own Tinder-like apps) are a fantastic demonstration of how innovative online dating platforms can be. While some people are shocked,’ ‘angry,’ and ‘upset,’ by an initial diagnosis … not everyone is angry and miserable … once a person has been educated about the virus, and has lived with the infection for some time, they’re likely to have a different emotional outlook.” (2)

The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends that individuals living with a latent herpes infection (HSV-1 or HSV-2) take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural, antiviral products was shown to reduce symptoms associated with herpes infections in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.
