It's Not a Mirage: Sahara Sam's Releases Expansion Name, Grand Opening Date
/EINPresswire.com/ -- WEST BERLIN, NJ--(Marketwired - April 29, 2016) - Sahara Sam's newest expansion featuring a family leisure pool and two additional water slides officially has a name and an opening date. The 10,000-square-foot addition to the park is being called the Mirage, keeping up with the existing desert oasis theme of the other 70,000 square feet of the indoor water park.

"We are excited to do our part to help kick off the summer season in South Jersey with the grand opening of the Mirage and opening of the Beach Club falling on Memorial Day weekend," said Ilya Girlya, CEO of Sahara Sam's. "The leisure pool and two slides are going to be really unique add-ons, providing our guests with even more excitement and value."
The slides are the first of their kind in New Jersey, allowing guests to race one another down 300-foot-long courses. The pair of colorful, head-first, mat racer slides stand tall at 55-feet-high and are currently visible to travelers on Route 73. The other part of the addition is a family leisure pool with integrated seating so guests can lounge and relax while swimming.
While the staff at Sahara Sam's is holding a competition of their own to name the leisure pool, the park is seeking the public's help in naming the two slides. Starting May 1
Construction on the Mirage started in November 2015 and is the water park's first expansion since joining Apex Parks Group, one of the largest owners of Family Entertainment Centers in the United States. Access to the Mirage will be included with the park's general admission ticket and accessible to annual pass holders at no additional cost.
