Solar Inspired LED Solar Lamp Brings a New Design Concept to the Market

Los Angeles, Calif. - February 15, 2011 -- Greendix, a fast rising supplier of custom solar panels, debuts a solar LED lamp concept for the consumer electronics market.

Greendix's solar LED lamp incorporates a leaf-shaped solar panel providing 14% plus efficiency. The lamp includes a built-in 1800mA NiMH battery and six 1.2W high-brightness LEDs. The lamp has an eco friendly design and can be used as a desk lamp, night light, camping light or emergency light. The leaf-shape solar panel charges the battery in 5 hours and the built-in sensor prevents overcharging of the battery. The ambient sensor also can automatically turn on the LEDs at night. The metal base design allows the solar LED lamp to perform in temperatures of up to 65 degrees Celsius.
