AccuFile Allies With Katherine K. Coolidge to Support Legal Information Management Business Service Expansion in Western Massachusetts

/EINPresswire.com/ -- BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - February 11, 2016) - AccuFile Inc., a market leader in Library Information Management, Records Management and Library/Resource Center services and solutions, today announced the hiring of Katherine K. Coolidge as part of a strategic expansion into Western Massachusetts. "Kathy has the pulse on where our industry is going both nationally, with her leadership experience in the American Association of Law Libraries, and locally, with her thirty plus years' experience with the law specifically in Worcester, Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire Counties," said Nick Ypsilantis - AccuFile's co-founder and CEO.

Western Massachusetts's legal communities are witnessing the same changes that lawyers are seeing across the nation: margins are declining and lawyers have to do more with less. "The need for flexible support services that get the right answers and clarify cases is stronger than ever. That is why the AccuFile model of providing 'as needed access' to experts across the legal support landscape is so appealing to lawyers in firms of all sizes," said Ms. Coolidge.

"Kathy's practice experience as well as her Library Information Management experience at Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas, LLP has given her a unique perspective that lawyers and firms in Western Mass would be shrewd to access," said Mr. Ypsilantis. "Kathy's unique ability to help lawyers to distill information from data is valuable on so many levels. She shares our commitment to meeting lawyers' needs -- how and when they need it. We both believe that the only way information is an asset is when it is accessible and actionable. There is more information out there than ever. It's about screening, intention and execution."

"The days when librarians solely manage collections are in the past," added Ms. Coolidge. "The modern librarian is a guide who selects the right path and the right process for finding the right information. Media and technologies are always changing, but proven research and information management methodologies stand the test of time. AccuFile embraces the best of new information, access and technology and combines it with a healthy dose of proven information management techniques and methods. This combination creates unique client solutions -- and careers."

"Kathy is a thought leader in the Library and Information Science world, and a real visionary in our business," said Mr. Ypsilantis. "I'm looking forward to collaborating with Kathy and the potential we have to expand AccuFile's services in Western Mass. We've always supported clients in this region, but with Kathy, we've really upped our game!"
