25-Year Technology Industry Veteran, Rob Vatter, Named CEO of Altran North America


/EINPresswire.com/ -- BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwired - February 08, 2016) -  Altran, a global leader in innovation and high-tech engineering consulting, recently announced that Rob Vatter has been appointed chief executive officer, Altran North America and joins the Altran Group Management Committee. Vatter succeeds Tim Bowe in this role. Tim Bowe will assume the role of Group EVP, Americas and Asia effective February 1, 2016, and joins the Altran Group Executive Committee.

As CEO, Vatter will oversee the corporate direction and strategy for Altran's business operations in North America, focused on providing technology consulting, managed product development, and engineering services to meet the evolving needs of clients in the aerospace, automotive, energy, intelligent manufacturing solutions, medical & life sciences, and telecom industries.

Vatter brings more than 25 years of experience in executive management, senior sales, operations, and marketing with leading software and managed technology service organizations to Altran. He joins Altran from ATOS where he served as senior vice president and general manager of the $1.9B North American managed services business unit for three years. Previously, Vatter worked at Hewlett-Packard for eight years holding several senior management roles including vice president/general manager of the HP Enterprise Services business unit. Prior to HP, Vatter spent 13 years with AT&T where he was vice president and general manager responsible for driving revenue and profit growth for various organizations within AT&T. He will report to Tim Bowe, newly appointed Group EVP, Americas and Asia.
