Altran Appoints Tim Bowe Group EVP, Americas and Asia

Leadership for Transformation Plan Takes Shape

/EINPresswire.com/ -- BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwired - February 08, 2016) - Altran, a global leader in innovation and high-tech engineering consulting, recently announced that Tim Bowe has been appointed Group Executive Vice President, Americas and Asia, and joins the Altran Group Executive Committee. Previously, Bowe was CEO of Altran North America and Foliage, a product development company. Bowe assumed the dual role of CEO, Altran North America and Foliage when Foliage was acquired by the Altran Group in 2014.

In his new role, Bowe will drive the Group's growth strategy in the U.S., India and China, continuing to evolve its high-value product development and engineering services, led by a global consulting organization. Bowe will focus on expanding the global delivery models serving the North American markets in the aerospace, automotive, energy, intelligent manufacturing, Internet services, medical & life sciences and telecom industries. Bowe will continue to report to Altran Group Chairman and CEO, Dominique Cerutti.

"I am truly excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the organization across the Altran Group," said Tim Bowe, Group EVP, Americas and Asia. "I look forward to accelerating the globalization of Altran by expanding both our brand recognition and footprint outside of our European base of operations by offering our unique expertise that covers the complete product lifecycle while meeting the demands of a cost-competitive global economy."

Succeeding Tim as Altran CEO in North America will be Rob Vatter. This handover and Tim's appointment are part of the first phase of the transformation strategy -- Altran 2020. Ignition -- unveiled by the Altran Group in late November.

"As the Altran Group embarks on the first phase of its 2020 strategic plan, Tim will play a key role driving our growth in regions beyond Europe," said Dominique Cerutti, Group Chairman and CEO, Altran. "Growing our activities in India into a powerful industrialized delivery center supporting North America and Europe, while strengthening our operations in China to seize opportunities in this region will be among Tim's key initiatives to support our bold transformation plan."
