Industry Veteran Joins as Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Donald is responsible for the development of Profitect's products. Profitect is a provider of solutions that increase profitability through operational efficiency and organizational synergy across the entire retail value chain. Donald will lead the innovation of Profitect's prescriptive analytics, pattern recognition and machine learning algorithms that continuously scrutinize vast amounts of data in search of irregularities, loss and potential growth areas. Specializing in agile technology, Donald has led and created engineering teams for both startups and established companies.

Donald, who is based in Boston, joins Profitect from SAS, previously working for Monster. He holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University and a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Donald was on the team that developed a patent in his field, is chairman of the UML Computer Science Industry Advisory Board and is a published author, contributing to several publications on "Visual Basic."
