A Shoebox Gift Can Change the Life of a Child, Even Mine

Admittedly, I had to sharpen up on my geography knowledge when I started in order to be familiar with the 100 plus countries in which we work. Now, I have the privilege of learning about all of our relief and development programs to help our representatives stay informed about our work around the world.
Operation Christmas Child is one such project, through which we deliver gift-filled shoeboxes to children affected by war, poverty and natural disasters. Many of these children have never received a gift before.
