IT Governance congratulates client Agenda Resource Management on achieving Cyber Essentials certification

Compliance with the Cyber Essentials scheme is a requirement when bidding for government contracts that involve the handling of sensitive and personal information, and the provision of certain technical products and services.
The scheme mandates five key controls that must be implemented to meet its requirements. These are: secure configuration, boundary firewalls and Internet gateways, access control and administrative privilege management, patch management and malware protection.
To achieve Cyber Essentials certification, companies need to complete a self-assessment questionnaire, which is signed off by a senior company representative and then verified by an external certification body. An external vulnerability scan will also be required if the company has chosen to be certified through a CREST-accredited certification body like IT Governance.
