“My inspiration came from my love of reading and writing. This book has been in the making for about ten years. I had to restart the writing twice because my computer crashed and then it was accidentally deleted,” Larsen shares in an interview.

Tammy Larsen was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa and had lived there most of her childhood. She graduated from Omaha South high in Omaha, Nebraska, and received her Associates Degree for Medical Assistant from Hamilton College in Council Bluffs. She continued working in the medical field for a few years and attended classes to obtain her EMT until she felt it was time to get out of the medical industry. Currently she works in metal fabrication for a company in Harlan, Iowa and resides in rural Irwin, Iowa with her three children. Tammy’s hobbies are writing and quilting and when she can find the time, likes to strum on the guitar.
