NAPERVILLE, IL, USA, July 3, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The sights, sounds and tastes for Naperville Ribfest are almost here. Promoters expect over 100,000 visitors for the family-friendly event which runs from Thursday, July 2 to Sunday, July 5.

Every day has its share of main attractions. On July 2, Ribfest welcomes Paul Rodgers of Bad Company who will perform at 8:30 p.m. on the Navistar Main Stage. In the Family Fun area, families can visit New Heights Balloon Twister from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; see Balster Magic Productions’ “Kids Bucks Game Show at 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. or visit with the Blackhawks Street Crew from 2 to 6 p.m. The crew appears every day at Ribfest.

July 3 goes into high gear with its roster. On tap is the International & Craft Beer Tasting which takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The tasting, which will be held in a private tent, is for guests 21 and over. Also on the schedule for both days is The Miller Lite Bags Tournament with an Open Tournament from 12 to 2:30 p.m. and a registered version from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday is also “Fiesta Latina” day with a full entertainment lineup beginning at 3 p.m. at the OneMain Financial Stage that includes Mariachi, Latin Jazz and dance music. The musical headliner will be Sammy Hagar and The Circle at 8:30 p.m. at the Navistar Main Stage.

The culinary highlight will be the Rib Competition which pits twelve ribbers from across the country against each other as they vie for Best Ribs, Best Sauce and Kid’s Choice.

Ribfest celebrates in patriotic style July 4 with Kristian Bush at 4 p.m. and Kellie Pickler at 6 p.m. at the Navistar Main Stage. Fireworks light up the sky at 9:30 p.m. In the South Park area, The Chicago White Sox crew will greet fans from 12 to 3 p.m..

Ribfest ends with a bang with The Band Perry at 8:30 p.m. at Navistar Main Stage.

For those who want up close and personal views of their favorite main stage bands, Front of Stage reserved tickets are still available for purchase for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Guests will also find a schedule of many local artists appearing in the North and South areas as well as other attractions at www.ribfest.net.
