Warning! Tanning Beds May Pass the Herpes Virus from One User to Another; CBCD Reviews the Medical Evidence

If not properly disinfected, tanning beds may infect users with the herpes virus. (1)

It’s important for the individuals to understand that the chances of a herpes infected individual using a tanning bed before them are very high.

“Infected with the Herpes virus (HSV-1 or HSV-2)? We recommend taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.” Greg Bennett, CBCD

A new report suggests that individuals risk becoming infected with the herpes virus when they use tanning beds. According to Dr. David Goldberg, “you could be getting more than just a nice glow the next time you get into a tanning bed.” (1) Dr. Goldberg is a dermatologist of the Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey. Dr. Goldberg continued, noting that “you just need one person going in there who has an active herpes infection, and they’re lying on the table and some of that virus gets on the table - again, the ultraviolet is not killing the virus … and then if you’re the unlucky next person lying on the table, and that table hasn’t been cleaned enough, there’s no question you can get that virus. People come in there; they sweat, and the sweating causes the bacteria and viruses to grow,” he said. “The heat itself from the lamps can cause those bacteria and viruses to grow.” (1) The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends that individuals who go tanning take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. These natural, antiviral products have a formula that was shown to reduce HSV symptoms in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.

The formula of Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the formula of Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR is effective against a broad range of latent viruses, including herpes viruses (HSV-1 and HSV-2). The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with (a latent virus) … reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment…” (2) The study authors also wrote that, “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (2)

Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose were chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses.

To date, Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims. Note: Novirin has the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR. However, it contains higher quality and more expensive ingredients.

It’s important for the individuals to understand that the chances of a herpes infected individual using a tanning bed before them are very high. As the CDC points out, “Genital herpes is common in the United States. In the United States, about one out of every six people aged 14 to 49 years have genital herpes.” (3) In other words, you may have a one in six chance of using a tanning bed after a herpes infected person.

In addition to the possibility of contracting the genital herpes virus by lying on a tanning bed, you can also become infected by “having vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who has the disease. Fluids found in a herpes sore carry the virus, and contact with those fluids can cause infection. You can also get herpes from an infected sex partner who does not have a visible sore or who may not know he or she is infected because the virus can be released through your skin and spread the infection to your sex partner(s).” (3)

What other treatments are available against the herpes virus?

“Two types of antiviral treatments against HSV are available: topical and oral. The treatments include penciclovir, acyclovir, famciclovir, and valaciclovir. However, their effectiveness is limited. For instance, a meta-analysis of five placebo-controlled and two dose comparison studies evaluated the effect of aciclovir, famciclovir or valaciclovir on symptoms. The meta-analysis showed that oral antiviral therapy decreases the duration and the associated pain of an outbreak by merely one day.” (2)

As noted above, there are also natural antiviral products that studies show to be safe and effective in reducing herpes symptoms. Two of these products are Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin. The only treatments that were designed to target the latent herpes virus are Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin.

All orders of Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are completely confidential, and no information is shared or sold to any third party. Privacy is assured.
