SAINT JOSEPH, MO. -- , UNITED STATES, April 29, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SAINT JOSEPH, Mo. – Shannon Lloyd, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing Enterprises, proudly announced the new member of their Tate Family of Authors. Set to release her book this year, Author Lucinda Weeks shares the inspiration behind her engaging new novel, “The Adulteress.”

Week’s novel creates a refreshing new twist as she modernizes Scripture in the tale of Adina -- a proper Jewish girl who fell in love with a thief and a drunkard. Wanting to gain more for her daughter, Adina’s father sells her to a man who was able to pay an immense price for the arranged marriage. Living in the midst of a man she didn’t love and yearning for the man whom she did, Adina finds herself longing for Yeichiel – and the affections of other men.

“I began writing the Adulteress after hearing a sermon about not wasting the talents that God had given us. It was about this time too, that I heard a man on the radio say that the story of the Adulteress should not even be in the bible because God cannot forgive a sin like that. His comments greatly saddened me because I had heard these comments from Christians before and they are both untrue and damaging to many… God can and does forgive. The bible says that there is no sin greater than another and God can forgive. My stories show that no matter what no one is beyond the reach of Jesus,” Week shares in an interview.

“A story of sin and salvation, ‘The Adulteress’ is an exciting page-turner filled with adventure, romance, and betrayal that will definitely keep readers at the edge of their seat!” states Acquisitions Editor, Shannon Lloyd.

Lucinda Weeks manages to create an engaging and inspiring story through vivid characters and impart holistic values to readers young and old in “The Adulteress" as she tells a tale as old as time in a unique and original way.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release, through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Lucinda Weeks has been writing fiction since the age of eight. She has been a ghost writer for several national magazines.
