Film festival director Kathleen Rea states, “In ‘Rizoma Rovereto’, they dance through fog at sunrise at the Bell of the Fallen in Italy. In ‘Poured Out’, they search for answers in Maidan Nezalezhnosti square in Ukraine. And in Sharon Fridman’s ‘Caída Libre/Free Fall’ (filmed in Holland), they stretch their ability to trust each other in exhilarating moments of combustible partnering.”

On May 14, headliner Sharon Fridman will present an evening of screenings and, along with Arthur Bernard, will do a special performance of his prize-winning piece ‘¿Hasta dónde?’

Fridman has won many awards including the audience choice award at the 2013 CDIFF, the first prize at the Burgos-New York International Choreography Contest 2011 and the award for best contemporary dance proposal at the International Dance and Theatre Fair of Huesca, Spain 2011.
