It's All in the Numbers

Play to Win nears capacity for August 1 Scholar-Athlete Showcase to be held in Mercer County, New Jersey

Play to Win...is there any other way
— Gary Cohn
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA, USA, March 25, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Play to Win, the nation's premier consulting and advisory services firm for high school student-athletes announced that they are nearing the capacity for their summer showcase to be held August 1st in at Mercer County Park (NJ). According to Gary Cohn, President/Coach of PTW, "We are extremely excited by the overwhelming incredible number of early registrations for this event. By design, our events maintain incredible Coach to Player ratios (better than 2:1). This ensures that the kids are not just a number, but are actually being looked at by the coaches in attendance." Cohn further stated that he finds it almost embarrassing that some events even hand out jerseys to the kids where the uniform numbers are 3 digits in length. "You wonder how a player feels wearing 173 on his back", concluded Cohn.

The showcase will have 35+ schools represented from the elite of the academic and baseball worlds. With the number of registered players confirmed, there are only limited spots available. To register, you can CLICK HERE to be taken to the registration page and secure your participation. We spoke with Brian Scanlon, PTW's National Director of Scouting and Business Development, and he boasted "I have been to at 30 academic oriented events in the past few years when I was the recruiting coordinator at Babson, and I am amazed that this event currently has players representing 21 different states with an average gpa of 3.84. With the likes of Princeton, Trinity, Holy Cross, and others from the northern and southern regions of the country attending, this really is the can't miss event for the true student-athlete."

PTW runs showcases, video days, and uniquely styled workouts and camps that allow for each player to really show what they are capable of doing on the field. The support staff utilized by PTW includes former MLB players, MLB scouts, former college coaches, and former college baseball players. "We leave nothing to chance," says Cohn, "our events take months of planning so that each player and their family can leave knowing that they just participated in an amazing event."

With a limit on the total attendance for the showcase, registered now is highly suggested. You can click on the link above or hit the registration button on the company's home page of their website (www.ptwsports.com) to register now.
