Having the desire to create a strong and healthy marriage isn’t enough. It takes a new mind-set, new skill-sets and new tools.

ST. JOSEPH, MISSOURI, USA, January 16, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- To create the “Happily Ever After” marriage is one of the greatest opportunities for you to achieve a fulfilling life. A healthy marriage is a team, a partnership. An unhealthy marriage, however, is a waste of a good life.

When “two become one” it can be confusing, conflicting and sometimes overwhelming, but marriage isn’t about getting along like when you dated; it requires healthy communication, problem resolution, negotiation and emotional control. When you learn to master the skills of healthy communication, you’ll have a marriage filled with love, happiness, joy and the fulfillment, a life overflowing with abundance.

Rhonda Neely is the founder of Marriage By Redesign, offering coaching programs designed to reignite your marriage.

“Having the desire to create a strong and healthy marriage isn’t enough,” says Rhonda. “It takes a new mind-set, new skill-sets and new tools. My gift is to be an exhorter. I know firsthand what it’s like to be in an unhealthy marriage. I looked into my life to see how I could help others based on my life’s experiences. “

Unhealthy marriages can be verbally and physically abusive, but they can also be when a couple is no longer connected intimately.

According to Rhonda, there are six stages of a healthy marriage: the romance; the power struggle; commitment; knowledge; transformation and finally love. Unfortunately, most couples never get past stage 2. Only when they can learn each other’s beliefs and thought processes and respect for each other can they proceed to commitment and eventually true love.

“I want this to be a movement. It can go even further to help build happy marriages and give children the homes they need to grow up in,” says Rhonda. “I’m proud that I’ve been able to overcome the obstacles of an abusive marriage and regain self-esteem, financial security and purpose through helping others. Turning other couples marriage into a happy marriage is the greatest joy I can receive in life because I know what true love is.”
