The frame and spring seat are made from durable, light-weight birch. This means that they look great – good enough to blend into an indoor décor; but at the same time, they are tough and rugged enough for outdoor play. To convert from one mode to the other, all you need do is rinse them off with a hose. The pneumatic tires are non-skid and designed not to leave marks on floors. Each bike has an NFC Passport microchip implanted in the center of the handlebars to facilitate registering it, and keeping track of the warranty. The chip is accessed with your smartphone or other mobile device.
These bikes are a great first bike for ages 18 months up through 4 years. If the crowdfunding campaign exceeds its goal, they have some cool stretch goals that fans are going to truly love. One of these is colors. The original bikes are a lovely, light wood color – but with the stretch goal, you can choose a different one. Another stretch goal will be to add an accessory bag so that children can carry favorite toys or a snack on their bike. A third goal – the final one – would be to add a mobile game featuring ZumZum bikes.
As you can see, this team has put together a winning campaign with a great product. If you have youngsters who are not quite ready for a pedal bike, but love the excitement of wheels, you will both love these wooden balance bikes. This is truly one nifty product design.
